The United Nations has been publishing documents since its founding. At one time, the printing presses of the Organization ran 24 hours a day to keep up with the UN's publishing needs. Most documents are now only published electronically. UN documents include resolutions from legislative bodies, such as the General Assembly, Security Council, and the Economic and Social Council, which often contain a work mandate to be carried out by the UN Secretariat, or the UN system. Additionally, reports of the UN Secretary-General assess the state of the Organization and announce new work initiatives. Access to cases and rulings by the International Court of Justice, the main judicial body of the UN, is also available. On this website, you can search for meeting records, summaries of conferences, UN reports, treaties, maps, yearbooks and more.

The documents on List A show both identity and employment authorization. Employees presenting an acceptable List A document should not be asked to present any other document. Some List A documents are in fact a combination of 2 or more documents. In these cases, the documents presented together count as one List A document.
This document may only be used if the period of endorsement has not yet expired and the proposed employment does not conflict with any restrictions or limitations listed on Form I-94 or I-94A, Arrival-Departure Record. Note: Some individuals who present this List A document, such as certain nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors, must present additional documentation in order to prove their work authorization in the U.S.
The documents on List B establish only identity. Employees who choose to present a List B document must also present a document from List C for Section 2. Employees may present one of the following unexpired List B documents:
Some employment authorization documents issued by DHS include but are not limited to Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record issued to asylees or work-authorized nonimmigrants (for example, H-1B nonimmigrants) because of their immigration status, Form I-571, Refugee Travel Document (PDF), an unexpired Form I-327, Reentry Permit , Form N-560, Certificate of U.S. Citizenship or Form N-561, Replacement Certificate of Citizenship (PDF, 40.3 KB), or Form N-550, Certificate of Naturalization or Form N-570, Replacement Certificate of Naturalization (PDF, 176.3 KB). A Form I-797 issued to a conditional resident may be an acceptable List C document in combination with his or her expired Form I-551. Vital records consist of birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates. State government vital records offices issue these documents. To get a copy of a vital record, contact the vital records office in the state where the event occurred.
If you were adopted from another country by a U.S. citizen, you should have copies of your naturalization/citizenship papers. If you don't, submit an application for the replacement of a naturalization/citizenship document. For help, contact U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
A divorce certificate is issued by a state vital records office. It shows that a divorce occurred but not all the same information as a divorce decree. You can save time and money by determining which document you need before requesting a copy.
Corporations Section: Certified copies of business organization documents on file with the Secretary of State, including articles of incorporation, certificates of limited partnership, articles of organization, certificates of merger, assumed name certificates, and applications for registration of trademarks. Additionally, certificates of existence or fact issued by the Secretary of State evidencing facts from the records of the office.
Non-recordable documents that have been notarized in English by a Texas Notary Public.You must submit the complete original document for authentication. For information regarding official certificates or apostilles for school records, please see FAQ #23. Recordable documents are issued by a Texas statewide officer. Recordable documents may not be certified by a notary public. This includes certified copies of birth/death certificates, vehicle title histories, etc.; documents issued by a county official including certified copies of marriage licenses, divorce decrees, probated wills, judgments, birth/death certificates, etc.; documents issued by a city or local registrar including certified copies of birth/death certificates. You must submit the complete document for authentication. Originals and/or certified copies submitted for authentication must have been issued within the past five years. It is the policy of the University of Minnesota that students must successfully complete and graduate from secondary school before they will be eligible to enroll. In order to verify that you have met this enrollment requirement, you must submit your official and complete academic documents from your secondary school along with proof of high school graduation (i.e. graduation certificate or leaving exam results) to the Office of Admissions.
The Office of Admissions must receive an official copy of your exam results in order to fulfill the University of Minnesota policy for proof of high school graduation. As soon as your exam results are released, please send your exam results to us. You have the following options:
Please request that your official IB examination results be sent to the University of Minnesota electronically from International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). In addition, arrange to have your official, final secondary school transcript sent to the University of Minnesota directly from your school.
